About me
I am a deaf game programmer from Poland, currently focusing on Game Programming after completing the Game Programmer course at FutureGames in Warsaw. I began my programming journey in 2023, when I dared to take on a new challenge and start developing myself in a direction I had dreamed about for years. Games have been my passion since childhood, and for many years I’ve dreamed of creating unique experiences where animated sign language replaces traditional spoken dialogue.
I’ve been a gamer for as long as I can remember, and one day I asked myself: why just play awesome worlds when I can build my own? Since then, I’ve been blending programming and motion capture to craft characters that move with purpose and emotion, shaping worlds where every gesture tells a story.

Cooperation
Working with me is no problem! In Zoom or Discord meetings, I use live captions on my computer, so nothing is ever missed. I actively communicate via chat or share my screen to show my work. I’m also considering using AI tools for voting, though I haven’t tested this yet. Everything is aimed at making collaboration with me smooth, efficient, and enjoyable.
VioletGnome
I founded a company together with Marcin Butkiewicz.
We want to create unique games – games set in a world of silence.

For now, we’ve put the project on hold,
but we’ll be back soon.
Why is the game unique?
In our game, Reynard, the characters cannot speak, so they must use sign language to communicate.
It’s an RPG — we planned many choices and numerous branching story paths.
Why VioletGnome?
Because sign names are important in our community, just like nicknames are for hearing people.
My sign name is “Violet,” and his is “Gnome,” so we combined them into VioletGnome.
